Published Results for 2019

2020-02-10

On Thursday 6th February we received our validated results for the 2019 series of GCSE exams. We are delighted with the outcomes for both attainment and progress, which put Thornden as the highest performing school in Hampshire. What is particularly pleasing is that this success covers students across all ability ranges and this makes us extremely proud. Our Attainment 8 score of 61 means that our students achieve, on average, a grade 6 in all their GCSEs. The Progress 8 score of +0.65 means that on average our students achieve almost 2/3 of a grade higher than the national average, for every subject.

We wish all of the class of 2019 every success in whatever college, apprenticeship or career pathway that they have chosen, and we look forward to hearing further information about their achievements as they happen.
